Join us in educating NYC voters on Ranked Choice Voting!

This Saturday, RepresentUs NYC members will be hitting the streets to talk to New Yorkers about Ranked Choice Voting!

Ranked Choice Voting means a stronger democracy. It allows more voters to have a say in who becomes their elected representative, increases voter participation, and also saves the city millions of dollars by getting rid of costly runoff elections.

This November, through Question 1, NYC voters will decide whether or not to use RCV on all primary and special elections from 2021. But in order for Question 1 to pass, we need to make the case to voters on why NYC needs RCV. Here are the details on the canvass:

Date: Saturday, September 21st, 2019
Time: 11:30am-3pm
Location: W 96th St and Broadway on the 1 2 3 lines (Upper West Side Manhattan)

Please RSVP by emailing Tom at tom.e.speaker [at] There will be a training from 11:30-12 to practice explaining RCV to voters, and flyers will be provided.

We look forward to seeing you there!
